If you’re looking for a decorating colour scheme to try, why not opt for pink and grey?
Pink and grey work well paired together and are an ideal colour combination for a cool and sophisticated contemporary home. Various shades of pink work well with shades of grey, but we rather like soft pink and blush pink for an on trend finish.
Here are some ideas for using pink and grey colour combinations in your home decorating.
Pink and grey paint ideas
When it comes to paint colours, the number of shades of grey available can be overwhelming. To get you started, here are two shades of grey – City Break and Step Inside – which pair well with the soft rose pink Pashmina paint. Use a combination of the three colours, or pick your two favourites.
Ideas for using pink and grey throughout your home
Cool grey combined with blush pink works well in bedroom decorating schemes. Choose a modern grey bed and combine with layers of grey and pink bedding and cushions.
For a quick way to add pink and grey to a room, go for the floor. This lovely triangle geometric design rug will add instant impact and colour.
Or if a rug doesn’t float your boat, maybe this grey ash flooring from Amtico will? It works very well with a soft blush pink.
Get in on the fringe trend too, with this blush textile wall hanging from Audenza. This boho style wall hanging features fringing in graduated shades of blush pink and soft grey.
Doesn’t this living room look super? The pink Mia velvet sofa looks so elegant – it’s designed by KOKET Projects.
And finally, to show how different shades of pink complement greys, here’s the stunning Roma grey office from Neville Johnson. It’s a lovely contemporary design – we adore those rounded edges on the cupboards – and works well alongside warmer pink walls.

This idea is wonderful. I love your examples of pink and gray combinations. I would think that this combination works both for male and females who share the household – it’s sophisticated and sexy at the same time.

The pink and gray trend reminds me of the mauve and grey trend from the ‘80s. It was very popular in Michigan and the combos remind me of being a teen. Right now, I’m into the blush and honey combo.

I wouldn’t have thought of putting pink and grey together but it looks great. Subtle but smart. I love the textile wall hanging in particular.

Very interesting article and nice advises. I like combination of expressive colours with pink, grey or other, plain colour. This design is so modern and stylish. In my living room I connect fresh pink with grey furniture and white walls and I love this look.

I agree that pink and gray is a beautiful color combination. They are absolutely stunning against a dark wall, as shown in the 2nd photo. Lovely!
