Paint experts Dulux launch their own Colour of the Year annually, the result of a collaboration between their own colour specialists and a team of top international design experts. According to Dulux, what has emerged from their trend forecast this year is that we’re all reassessing what really matters in our lives. With that in mind, the Dulux Colour of the Year for 2021 is Brave Ground – a warm, natural neutral and a versatile shade that lets other colours shine.
Brave Ground is an easy colour to use that will work in most interiors. Pair it with spicy shades of orange and yellow for warmth in a dark dining room, or use red and pink to make it pop. Mix it with soft creams and greys for an easy-to-live-with work area, or use shades of blue and green for a Skandi feel. We’ve picked out a few key pieces to incorporate into your new colour scheme.
Brave Ground from Dulux is available in a range of finishes for a variety of uses. Prices start at £1.90 for a tester pot, available from Dulux.
