If you’re the owner of a pampered puss, every day in your house is probably cat celebration day – but there is actually an official International Cat Day, held every year on the 8 August. It was started in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare, and is how run by the British charity International Cat Care. The aim of the day is to raise awareness for cats and learn more about how to help and protect them. The 2023 theme is ‘purrrfect play every day’, to encourage pet owners to interact more with their felines. We’ve picked out 10 cat-related products to help you and Kitty celebrate International Cat Day.
