If you’re keen to take a fresh look at your decor, one thing that can make a huge difference to a tired interior is a new lamp. Perfect for adding a little extra light at this time of year, this high quality adjustable desk lamp is made from stainless steel and sustainable rubber wood. 4. Silver and grey ceramic bedside table lamp with grey shade, Melody Maison
This bedside lamp is a little more traditional, and an absolute bargain at just £32.95 including shade. It has a two tone ceramic base in grey and silver and a plain grey linen shade, so will blend with most decors. Available from Melody Maison.
5. Obvious glass table lamp in antique brass, BePureHome
Another unusual choice, this table lamp has a hanging glass lampshade and a metal base. Its shape means it would be ideal as a reading light on a corner table. £49.95, available from Cuckooland.
6. Kyle essentials table lamp in charcoal grey, MADE
With a clean profile, a simple, slender stem and circular base, this table lamp is a perfect budget buy for the modern home. It would also work well in a student bedroom. Just £20 including shade, it’s made from metal and wood and is available from MADE.
