If you’re looking for a Christmas gift idea for a hard to buy for recipient, or you’d simply like to add some beautiful fresh flowers to your home for the Christmas season, then the Christmas flowers collection from The Real Flower Company is well worth exploring.
The Real Flower Company are based in Hampshire and specialise in luxury flower bouquets. They pride themselves in using beautifully scented roses, English flowers, scented herbs and stunning foliage, all of which are grown on their English farms and, when the British growing season has finished, their Fairtrade sustainable farm in Kenya.
Their selection of Christmas flowers is bursting with stunning arrangements, including flower posies, bouquets, table wreaths, garlands and door wreaths, many of which include fragranced flowers, herbs and foliage.
Their Christmas posy, is perfectly designed for a Christmas home and is a lovely bouquet to out on display during the festive period. When we first heard the phrase ‘posy’ we automatically thought it would be small and sweet, but couldn’t have been more wrong. It’s referred to as a posy as in their terms it includes six roses, but it’s by no means a small affair. In fact, this is a luxury flower bouquet that’s oozing with style, scent and colour.
The posy is carefully designed and put together to include cheery bursts of colour in the form of scented scarlet, deep red and antique pink roses, purple anemone flowers and oodles of fresh green foliage, including birch twigs, olive and thistles. The addition of a pine cone helps finish off the seasonal feel.
The roses are heavily scented and utterly glorious. They’re a world apart from the standard supermarket style bunches of roses that have no scent, and look like they’ve been freshly picked straight from a blooming summer rose garden.
Like all their floral deliveries, the Christmas posy arrives very well packaged in a secure box, tied with a lush green ribbon. The bouquet itself is wrapped to perfection in layers of cellophane, and tied with ribbon, so if you’re giving it as a gift, it’s ready to go. Here it is fresh from the box:
As the bouquet is already so nicely arranged, you don’t need to be an expert flower arranger to get the posy to look great in a vase. Anything effortless like this gets our thumbs up!
