Founded in 2015 and launched in 2016 by Lucy Ferguson, the East London Parasol Company is doing a brilliant job of designing and selling flamboyant and vibrant garden parasols.
All the products are handmade in India and Bali using traditional techniques and feature bright, vibrant colours, handprinted fabrics, block prints and gorgeous tassel and pom pom trims. They’re certainly not your average garden parasols and really make a statement!

Here are a few of our favourite sun shade designs from the East London Parasol Company:
Big Shirley parasol – fuschia pink taffeta with gold ribbons and pink tassels.
Diana Ross – cream parasol with turquoise zig zag design. White cotton fringing with blue tassels and pom poms.
Whitney – glamorous pink parasol hand painted with gold ink and featuring a traditional Balinese lotus pattern. It has contrasting yellow cotton fringing, with orange pom poms and tassels, and is a really luxurious garden parasol.
The Nina hand made pink parasol with hand-carved pole, has a stunning palm and banana leaf print. The turquoise blue beaded tassels add a nice touch of contrast colour.

You don’t have to stop there with the garden colour pops either – they do a range of textiles to mix and match with the parasol designs, including cushions, napkins and tablecloths. They’re the perfect finishing touches for a bohemian garden oasis.
