Display your treasures in style, get organised and tidy your home with these five super shelf ideas!
Pelican shelf
This unusual shelf is made by Grattify and the design is inspired by pelican birds. You can use it to stand or display items in, as well as hang things from – there are a couple of hidden hooks underneath the shelf. It’s available in three different sizes and five colour options.
Reclaimed wood and steel shelf
If you love industrial style and handmade items, then this reclaimed wood and steel shelf from Edgeinspired would be ideal. It’s made in Britain from locally sourced reclaimed timber and each shelf is unique, with tiny imperfections and signs of a previous life visible in the wood. They’re full of industrial charm and provide a distinctive display unit for your home.
Hexagon mirror shelves
These solid wood hexagon shelves come as a set of three, in graduating sizes. They can be used individually, but work particularly well hung together as a group of three. What sets them apart is the mirrored back on the shelves, which is an attractive addition. They’re made in Britain and available from James Design.
Pegboard shelf
This dinky little shelf is made from solid oak and is designed to fit neatly into a pegboard. It’s made by UK design company, Block, and is compatible with their pegboards.
Geometric triangle shelf
The eye-catching wooden triangle shelf is equipped with two tiers inside, offering four triangular mini shelves where you can display items. It’s the perfect size for small candles, gemstone rocks, small vases or even a few books. It’s available in small or large sizes from Posh Totty Designs Interiors.

I love all of these. It really disappoints me that I don’t have more wall space at home so I can incorporate more shelving. I really want a pegboard and those hexagon shelves
But at least you have a fab corkboard wall!
I love the industrial reclaimed wood shelf Rachel! Sadly I’m in a rented flat so can’t put any shelving up — need to find a similar style in a freestanding version..
That’s a shame – but I bet there’s a freestanding one out there somewhere.
Thank you for giving me these ideas. I am planning to redesign my living room soon.
nice shelves…!!!
