Are you looking to give your walls a refresh this year? If decorating is on your list of things to do in your home this year, then here are six ideas for wallpapers to use for a refresh!
For Scandi style
The Lundby wallpaper is inspired by the forests of Scandinavia and features a simple graphic design. It’s available in two colour shades, including this lovely monochrome option. £23 per roll from John Lewis.
For subtle texture
The Makisu wallpaper, from the Villa Nova Hana collection, features a lovely wood paneled effect. The design is inspired by Japanese tatami mats. The soft sage green colour adds just the right amount of colour and pattern to the wall to help lift the room, without being overpowering. It’s also available in three other colours and is currently £44 per roll (normally £55) at Wallpaper Direct.
For drama and impact
If it’s a brand new bold design you’re looking for, then how about Matthew Williamson’s Peacock wallpaper? There are four colourways, but we love the rich dark violet accented with antique gold – stunning. Not cheap at £114 per roll, but a special statement design.
For a quirky city design
The Lissabon wallpaper features a monochrome view of the coastal city of Lisbon in Portugal. It’s full of interest and you’ll always be spotting something new! Currently £21.60 per roll (normally £27).
For a brick wall effect
You can’t go wrong with a good brick wall effect wallpaper – and this one is a bargain at only £7.99 a roll (normally £9.99) from Dunelm.
For simple style
Eco Simplicity’s River wallpaper is, not surprisingly, inspired by the movements of a river. The ink blue would work very well in a bathroom redecoration project, but other colours are available too. Currently £33.60 per roll (normally £42).
