It’s that time of the year when the light goes far too quickly at the end of the afternoon and we’re back to dark evenings. But if you’re keen to add some light and atmosphere into your home, now’s the perfect time to put tea lights, candles and decorative candle holders to good use.
There are loads of different decorative tealight candle holders available, but we rather like some of the ones available from Dotcomgiftshop. The tea light holders are available to buy in sets, or individually, in a range of designs and colours and at budget friendly prices.
The ones shown above are the set of six glass tealight holders, which come as a mixed set of different colours (including blue, green, grey and clear). The glass has an attractive geometric design on it and it’s nice have a mix of colours, rather than a set of identical pieces.
Having a whole set is great, as you can create more of an impact than using one single tealight. And if you don’t want lit candles in your home, then they’ll work equally well with battery tealights.
They each measure 9.5cm x 5.5cm and their size makes them perfect to use as mini vases too. Candle holders that are multi-purpose, what’s not to love? They cost £14.95 for the set of six.
Also available is this lively set of eight porcelain tealight holders, which are perfect for creating a pop of colour:
They’ll look gorgeous lit on a dark evening and help bring a bit of colour into a room. They’re £19.95 for the set of eight.
These four designs are all attractive and eye-catching too. Some are available to buy individually, others in sets. One of the silvery ones starts at only £1.95 each, which seems incredibly good value:
Top left: Paloma dipped tea light holder, available in five colours – £4.95 each
Top right: Fluted antique glass tealight holder – £2.95 each
Bottom left: Silvered glass t-light holder – £1.95 each
Bottom right: Set of four coloured tealight holders – £12.95
Even if you’re not in the market for any more candle holders, they’re certainly worth bearing in mind for stocking fillers and Christmas presents.
What do you think? Are you a fan of using candles and tea light holders in your home?
(Disclosure: We were sent a set of tealight holders, but all views and opinions are our own).

These are a great idea for stocking fillers- I love the antique look ones
So many beauties. I love the eight tea light holders – so many beautiful colours!
Lots of nice choices here and very reasonably priced. I used to love tealights until we had kids. Might check out the battery operated ones you mentioned though.
Can’t get enough of candles at the mo. 5pm and i’m all over the house with the matches. Lovely pics here!
