Leading Italian bathroom specialist, Novellini, has launched a new range of bathroom solutions this week at ISH Frankfurt.
The new Novellini designs are based on the idea that “design can be a form of wellness.” They incorporate the traditional Italian style with ground-breaking technology and design to great effect, with enticing contemporary bathtubs, shower enclosures and cubicles.
At the heart of the design concept is the notion that spending time in a well designed bathroom can rejuvenate and refresh you, relaxing your body, mind and spirit. The elegantly designed baths and showers add character and luxury to your bathroom, making it a place that is aesthetically pleasing to be in and help enhance your wellbeing.
The four new product ranges launched this week are Revolution 2, Diva, Eon and Gala.
Revolution 2 draws on the basis of the original Revolution product and takes it one step further. The idea behind this design is to create a daily wellness space and a multi-functional room that supports the needs of a modern lifestyle.
There’s a sleek and contemporary shower and wash basin, but where a tub used to be, they offer a practical way of re-organising the space and incorporating other useful elements. Inside the cupboards there’s room for washing machine and dryer, plus a tall utility unit.
If your home is lacking space for a utility room or your kitchen isn’t quite big enough to have a washing machine, then this is a very viable and intriguing concept. With more people taking showers than baths, perhaps not installing a bath makes sense?
Designer Massimo Farinatti is the person responsible for the creation of Diva, the queen of the bathtubs. This super roomy tub comes in two versions – simple and elegant, reminiscent of leading ladies in times past, or sophisticated and contemporary. You can sit back and enjoy relaxing with airpool hydromassage system experience.
The multifunction cubicle, Eon combines the past with the future. It’s been styled by Marco Pellici and has a number of high-tech features. The back panels are made of acrylic resin, which is highly durable and has antibacterial properties. The trims are made from aluminium chromed by PVD (physical vapour deposition) and are corrosion-proof.
Top notch additions include a dorsal hydromassage, steam sauna, emotional chromolight system and an mp3 player. The perfect way to shower and wake up in style in the morning!
Gala is an enclosure space designed by Marco Pellici. Its modern, functional design emphasises beauty and attention to details. There are newly styled cushioned closure hinges and chromed metal handles, for example, and it’s a truly elegant glass construction.
The new ranges are on display at ISH Frankfurt until 14 March 2015.
