There are some classic and iconic design pieces that go on and on, with lasting appeal. The componibili storage unit is, for me, one of those pieces.
Designed for Kartell by Anna Castelli Ferrieri in 1969, the storage unit encompasses design appeal with functional use. The rounded design helps it stand out from other storage units, as do the sliding doors and the thermoplastic that it’s made from.
The storage unit is available in several colours, including red, black and a shiny silver, and it looks right at home in a variety of rooms, including bedrooms (it makes a good bedside table), children’s rooms, in the hallway or in the lounge.
The three tier componibilli storage unit (two tiers are available too) is stocked by several retailers, but it’s currently in stock at Oliver Bonas, where prices start at £83 for black and red. The shiny silver is slightly more, at £92.
