There are a lot of lovely wallpaper designs available, but one of the patterns that continues to be popular is the Dandelion Clocks design by Sanderson.
Based on a classic 1950s retro design, the fun and funky wallpaper is available in a choice of colourways and works very effectively in many rooms of the home.
The Chaffinch blue – a light, teal blue, grey and green colourway – is perhaps one of the best known choices for this wallpaper, but the blackcurrant pink and natural shades, or the striking red and brown, look just as good.
The Dandelion Clocks wallpaper is available from a variety of retailers, including John Lewis, where the made to order wallpaper costs £33.
To complete the look, various matching dandelion clock print homewares are available too. Whilst I’m not keen on the idea of plastering an entire house in the Dandelion Clock print, there are plenty of items available to allow you to mix and match, using as much or as little as the print as you wish, in conjunction with coordinating paint colours, fabrics or furniture.
If you love the cheery blackcurrant and natural colourway, then Heal’s have an exclusive dandelion clock lampshade in stock.
The drum style lampshade is best suited for use with a lampbase – if you use it as a pendant style shade, then the design will be upside down!
Wallpaper Direct have all the colourways available in a Dandelion Clock print bath towel (£24) and the blue print in a Dandelion Clocks king size duvet (£85).
John Leiws have matching Dandelion Clock cushions available in the blackcurrant and blue colours, for £30 each.
