A fantastic piece of contemporary furniture design, the Balzac armchair is not only pleasing to look at, but comfortable to sit and relax on too.
Designed by Matthew Hilton, the chair is made from a solid beech frame with steel springs and elasticated webbing. It’s covered in multi-density foam with feather cushions to aid comfort and provide medium to soft support. It’s then finished off to a high standard using soft, full-aniline leather upholstery.
The leather naturally differs from piece to piece, so each armchair has its own unique characteristics.
Heal’s sell the Balzac chair and matching footstool in various colourways, including Utah brown leather and Utah russet leather – the latter being a perfect shade for an autumnal colour scheme.
