- Bellevue Tea wallet
Clare Jones, at Bellevue Tea, very kindly sent us some tea samples to try. They arrived at a very appropriate time, as I’d just run out of my favourite Earl Grey tea and was about to buy some more.
Not surprisingly, it was the Earl Grey that I had to try first. Although I’d been happy with what I’d been drinking before, there really was no comparison between the two. The Bellevue Earl Grey is delightful – very floral and fragrant, but light enough to not be overpowering – and I’ve been firmly won over.
The Breakfast Tea was very nice too, and a good option for an ‘all day’, everyday, tea. Although I’ve drunk Rooibos in the past, I didn’t think I was massively keen – until I tried the Bellevue Version. This South African red bush tea, which is a good caffeine-free tea option, was a lot nicer than my previous experience and, again, not too strong (although I’m sure you could brew it to be stronger if you so desire).
We’ve still got the Ceylon Black Tea and Sencha Green Tea to try (the Earl Grey keeps getting brewed), but if you’re looking for a Christmas gift or stocking filler for a tea lover, Bellevue Tea have a set of all five teas for only £5. They’re packaged in handy wallets – perfect for taking to work or using at home – with six bags of individually strung tea in each wallet.
Individual boxes of each of the teas are available too, with 25 bags selling for only £2 per box.
