This very unusual montage, entitled Food for Thought, was created by Gavin Harrison from vintage 1930s and 1940s recipe books.
Pages and images have been cleverly ripped and torn from the books and re-assembled to create a vivid and interesting montage, where there’s lots going on and constantly new areas to spot and look at. It would work well in a kitchen or dining room, where dinner party guests could be kept on their toes spotting elements of the montage!
This archival giclee print is one of only 50 limited editions, which are signed and numbered by the artist. The print is on a good quality 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper and it measures 23.4 inches by 16.2 inches.
The unframed print is available to buy from the Keep Calm Gallery for £36.
