The long awaited Anthropologie home and lifestyle boutique store has finally opened the doors of its first shop in London today.
The popular American brand has opened their first shop at 158 Regent Street, with another store planned to open in King’s Road in Spring 2010. They don’t yet have a UK online store (although you can order from the US), but this is apparently in the pipeline.
The large three storey shop, with 10,000 feet of retail space, sells a wide range of ecletic home products, along with nearly 200 brands of women’s fashion.
As anyone who’s been to their US stores will know, it’s a great place to source unusual items for your home. Prices tend to vary – some of the more unusual pieces are pricey – but you can pick up bargains too.
The decorative Nikau glass, for example, is only £10.
If you’ve been to the new store, or are planning a trip, let us know what you thought of it!
