With the restrictions lifting and the weather improving, it’s not long now before we can start to meet a few other people outdoors. We thought it was a great opportunity to look at some fresh new picnicware, ready for some alfresco socialising. Here’s what we’ve found.
1. Picnic sets for one, Green Tones

These colourful, individual dining sets comprise a bamboo fibre plate, bowl and cup. Light and easy to carry, they’re perfect for picnics whether that’s out and about or at home in your own garden. Dishwasher safe, they’re practical too and the bright colour choices mean that each member of the family can have their own. £6.50 per set, available from Green Tones.
2. Recycled wool waterproof picnic blanket, The Tartan Blanket Co

This chunky picnic blanket is woven from 70% recycled wool and 30% mixed recycled fibres. Finished with a waterproof backing, these rugs come in a range of different tartan choices and cost £70 from the Tartan Blanket Co.
3. Coastal birds picnic bag, Sophie Allport
