During these difficult times, the rainbow has become a symbol of support for everyone who wants to show solidarity with the fantastic work done by front line NHS workers. Drawings, banners and posters are adorning windows across the land, but we thought we’d get a little more creative with it. We’ve tracked down a range of rainbow crafts and accessories, some to make up yourself and some ready to go.

These 2cm pom poms / felt balls come in a wide range of bright rainbow colours, perfect for decorating your craft projects – or just string them on a line for an instant window garland. They’re handmade in Nepal from 100% wool handmade in Nepal, and cost £3.40 for a pack of 20 (your colour choice) from Pocket Craft Supplies on Etsy.
4. Handmade rainbow hearts garland, Shabtique via Etsy
This string of felt hearts and pom poms will brighten any window. Each heart is made of polyester felt and is hand stitched for am artisan feel. The garland costs £16 and is available from Shabtique on Etsy.
5. Wooden rainbow, Wendover Wood
This handmade pine wooden rainbow is perfect for a window sill. It measures around 20cm wide by 10cm tall and stands up on its own, and it’s supplied as bare wood ready for you to paint or decorate. £7.50, available from Wendover Wood.
6. Hope rainbow banner embroidery sewing kit, Just Toppers
This kit comes with everything you need to make a rainbow banner for your window. 8. Rainbow pennant flag, House of Hooray
This eye catching, bright wall pennant is a welcome pop of colour at the moment! It’s handmade in Yorkshire, and each of the vibrant felt letters are individually cut and sewn on to the flag for an artisan feel. It measures 18cm by 44cm and would look great hanging in a window as well as on a wall. It costs £20 and is available from House of Hooray.
