Is your home in need of more art on the walls? We take a look at Posterlounge, a print and production company who offer a choice of over 200,000 images to brighten your walls.

What does Posterlounge offer?
With a staggering choice available, Posterlounge not only offers classic works from artists such as Monet, Klimt and van Gogh, but also offer a sales platform for artists and photographers.
That means that if you type more or less any search term into the Posterlounge website – ‘dog’, for example, or ‘flowers’ or even ‘blue summer flowers’, you’ll be rewarded with dozens or hundreds or thousands of choices, from modernist paintings to photographs.
How does Posterlounge work?
Once you’ve chosen your image, there’s more to come. All Posterlounge’s images are available as a small (around 30cm by 20cm) plain poster for £6.90, and you can choose a range of sizes up to the largest (120cm by 80cm) for around £30 (prices vary slightly).
If you want more than a plain poster, you can then choose from a range of materials for more permanent wall art. These include canvas (prices start at around £23), wood, acrylic glass (both starting at around £21), Forex (a sort of light weight foam board, priced from around £19), and alu-dibond, a photo medium made from aluminium (priced from around £20). Phew!
Once ordered, your chosen image is then specially created and delivered to your door.
Our verdict on Posterlounge

I had my eye on a Porsche poster for my car-loving other half. Just typing ‘Porsche’ into the search engine brought up over 40 choices, and although I’d wanted to keep it a surprise, I had to end up enlisting his help to choose the right one. The winning image was a a hazy, soft focus image of classic 911s in a garage.
As the image was destined for the workshop, we chose alu-dibond which was strong and light and would happily stand up to a potential slight dampness in the atmosphere.

The image arrived well before I expected it, in just a couple of days. It was beautifully packed, in an over-large flat cardboard box, and inside the artwork was protected with proper corner protectors as well as bubblewrapping. It came complete with some very high quality hangings, which were easy to fit, and the whole thing was lightweight and beautifully produced.
I thought Posterlounge offered a top class service and was good value for money for the high quality of the product. They’d be a great choice if you wanted some inexpensive posters to brighten a student room or rented house, and equally if you wanted to invest a little more in some more permanent artwork.

just moved into my apartment not even a month ago. this looks great for getting some things to hang on the walls
I like the landscapes images.
Thank you for the guidance! I want to do this on a wall in my home!
We are redecorating. Furnishings are moving along and then we are moving into artwork and photos. To some extent we will use what we have but we also need to infuse color into some rooms. This seems like a great resource.
this sounds a great company, I’m obsessed with buying pictures for our house, it’s a pretty inexpensive way of freshening up a room isn’t it!
There is so much there to choose from and a couple of prints I’ve now got my eye on. My birthday list continues to grow, PK will be thrilled!
