It’s amazing how many different pieces of furniture and homeware can be made from or inspired by old wooden pallets.
If DIY’s not your forte, don’t panic! Here are four creative pieces that have been handcrafted for you, so all you have to do is buy them and enjoy putting them to use in your home.
1. Pop this pallet coffee table in pride of place in your living room. The inner storage area is an added bonus and ideal for storing magazines and boxes. The addition of the hairpin industrial style legs adds an elegant finish. £315 from Gas & Air Studios.
2. Hang up this small pink pallet light shade – yes, this really is made from recycled pallets. Choose from five different shade colours and a range of different coloured elastic. £39.99 from Factory Twenty One on Clippings.
3. Sit comfortably on a folding pallet chair with a bright splash of colour (we like the turquoise, but you can choose your own colour) – perfect for using inside or out. £220 from Gas & Air Studios.
4. Get organised at home with a pallet noticeboard. It’s got four rustic clips, so you can easily clip up reminders. £35 from Rose & Grey

I do like a bit of recycling!
Me to…although I don’t always have time for all the projects I’d like to do, so it’s rather good when someone else has done it for you!
I might of known the one I love is from Rose & Grey! Love their stuff
You’ve clearly got good taste!
I love that pink lampshade!
Me too, it’s lovely, isn’t it? I can’t believe it’s made from pallets though.
It is amazing how many uses pallets have, I reviewed a book this week about upcycling, which had a great tutorial for a book shelf.
That sounds interesting, I will have to look out for it.
I love using pallets!! I used one a few weeks again to make an outdoor live table for my garden. I’m always randomly asking builders if I can steal a pallet 🙂

That’s brilliant, Karen, I love your live table!
Love the coffee table. Inspiration for my She shed !
You can’t beat a good pallet for upcycled decor these days, great suggestions here.
Pallets are wonderfully versatile! I’ve had a go at some pallet art in the past which is cheap, fun and easy to do. Love the coffee table & noticeboard!
