Maps are often used as a form of wall decoration in homes, but here’s a novel way of personalising your map.
Designed to record the places you’ve visited around the world, My Scratch Map can literally be scratched off to show where you’ve been.
The top layer of the map is finished off in gold foil, which looks fine as it is. But if you want to mark where you’ve been, just gently scratch off the surface (aka lottery scratchcard style, with the edge of a coin) and nice details underneath will be revealed.
Fun to use yourself at home, the scratchable world map will also make a good gift for anyone into travel and become a talking point on the wall.
The My Scratch Map costs £14.99 and can be bought from I Want One Of Those.

This is cool! I used to have a blank map and colored the cities/countries I’ve visited with a crayon…but I had to have a real map on hand to make sure that I was coloring the right space. This one is perfect 🙂
Glad to hear you like it, Claire, we thought it was rather fun.
I like the look of your blog and your recycling ideas look great!
