Top 10 contemporary tea towels

Whether you love it, or hate it, have a dishwasher, or not, every home kitchen needs a tea towel – even if all you do is hang them up to be admired.For those that are drying up, a quirky tea towel can liven up the experience and raise a smile or two and there are some great contemporary tea towels on the market today. It’s been hard to choose, but here are our current top 10 favourites.

1. Birdsong Tea Towel

This bright and funky fuschia coloured tea towel would add a splash of colour and liven up any dark kitchen corner. By Lush Designs, it features the joys of spring and birdsong.

2. A Meal Without Wine…. Tea Towel

It says it all really – if you love slogans on your tea towels and a big fan of meals without wine, then this could be the perfect tea towel for you!

3. Owl Tea Towel

This organic fairtrade cotton tea towel, with the colours blue, white and black, features a starry night with two owls perched in a tree.

4. Russian Doll Home Tea Towel

One of the current trends in home designs is the traditional stacking Russian doll, which is cropping up in all sorts of items.

Whilst the traditional image and bright colours may be too whimsical for some, this tea towel, with its horizontal design, offers a modern black and white take on Russian dolls that may fit more comfortably in a contemporary home.

7. Give Me Sunshine Tea Towel

9. Love Birds Tea Towel
