 Go dotty!
If you love having contemporary art on your wall, then how about this utterly dotty creation?
The large 3d wall art canvas is handmade in England and measures 75cm x 75cm x 3cm in size. The pure white background of the canvas is brought to life by the addition of an array of colourful polka dots. The polka dots are 3D, so add a bit of dimension to the canvas too.
The polka dotty 3D canvas is available from Fairy Angel Cake for £150, with free delivery.

If you love wall art sculptures, but also need some practical storage in your home, then meet the Fold shelf.
This clever design combines an impressive three dimensional wall sculpture with a useful shelf, that can be used for storing books, home accessories, CDs or DVDs.
The unusually shaped Fold shelf is made from a single sheet of powder coated metal that has been laser cut and hand folded along perforated cuts. The crisp edges of the shelf expose the perforations, which produces a trendy stitched detail effect.
One shelf used on its own on a wall is effective enough, but you could combine several shelves to form unusual sculptures and art on your wall. You can even choose which way up you position it, for maximum design and creativity.
The Fold shelf comes with everything you need to fix it safely and securely to your wall and is available to purchase from the Hidden Art shop.

 Limited edition print
We love the sentiment of this limited edition print. Produced in a vintage style, the red typographic wording is printed in a distressed look and it’s complemented by a chunky, solid oak frame.
It’s a good sized piece of wall art, measuring 55cm by 55cm and it’s ready to hang straight up on your wall.
Only 250 of these have been produced and you’ll get a certificate to tell you which number yours is.
The Love Makes the Ride Worthwhile print is by Coulson Macleod and can be purchased on Not On The High Street.

Did you know John Lewis offers made to order prints? We didn’t, but have been pleasantly surprised to discover the vast selection of prints they have on offer.
In fact, their online exclusives include 229 prints to choose from and, believe us, it’s a tough choice!
The prints range from iconic images, such as jars of Marmite, old posters and modern prints, to black and white and colour prints, stunning close up flower photography, soothing beach and sea scenes, nudes, animals and paintings, plus lots more in between. Prices start at £40, rising up to a top figure of £279 for larger sizes.
There are several framing options too, so you can pick the one that suits your need. For example, a frameless canvas print (where its stretched onto a concealed wooden frame) for the ‘gallery look’, a stretched canvas print in a wooden box, for the ‘boxed gallery look,’ or a simple framed print that is mounted, in a wooden frame and with clear acrylic on the front.
Some of our favourites, as above, include August Field, Venice canal print and Stepping Out. What would you hang on your wall?

 Stunning mirror
Make a design statement on your wall, by hanging this fabulous round bubble mirror on it.
The mirror is made more interesting, and a bit like a piece of wall art in its own right, by its textured surface. There are three rows of graduating bubbles, or circles, decorating the edge of the mirror, which creates a kind of ‘frame within a frame’ effect. You’ve got all the benefits of the mirror, but also a stunning focal point for your wall too.
The round bubble mirror measures 100cm in diameter and is available to purchase at Heal’s.

 Create your own collage
I’m on the lookout for a nice large frame, suitable for holding multiple pictures, so was pleased to come across this collage frame from Next.
It’s in a lovely deep chocolate colour and holds up to 11 photos, of differing sizes.
The collage effect is a bit of a change from some of the frames which simply hold multiple photos, as they look a bit less regimented and formal and look good on the wall.
This one, that Next are calling the chocolate large box collage, is priced at £40.

 Creative heart art
This is a great piece of art by Brigitte Herod and one that could easily be replicated if you haven’t got £175 spare to purchase it.
The heart is made from lots of little button badges, all sourced from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s, and if you look closely, you’re sure to pick out badge images that you remember from your past.
The picture is framed in a white box frame and looks great from a distance, as well as close up.
To own the original, pop over to Rockett St George and snap it up.
But if you happen to have a load of old badges stashed away in your cupboard, perhaps you could have a go at creating your own wall art?
