 Kissing rabbit rug
If you told me before that I’d be marking our 500th post by writing about kissing rabbits, I wouldn’t have believed you.
But wonders never cease and we couldn’t resist writing about this fun picnic rug!
Produced by Anorak and featuring a kissing rabbit design, the lightweight cotton blanket has a nylon back, which makes it perfect for use outside. The rug folds up really well and, when done correctly, you end up with two handles at the top for easy carrying.
The red rabbit design is rather unusual and you can’t help but be charmed by it. The rug is available from Heal’s, who also have more great products in their outdoor range that will be perfect for using for summer picnics and other outdoor dining activities.

 Statement cushion
Osborne & Little are well known for their wallpaper and fabric design and have created this Prima Donna cushion for part of Heal’s ReDiscovers range.
Using traditional floral designs, the cushion is given a modern feel with its black and fluorescent pink roses and silver background. If you like the design and fancy more than just the cushion, there are a whole load of other matching items available, including a lampshade, rug, armchair and drum pouffe.
Personally, we feel that one or two pieces is enough to make a statement, as too much can be a bit overpowering, but each to their own.
The cushion is available from Heal’s, who are celebrating their 200th year anniversary in 2010, so look out for special offers in store and online throughout the year.

We’ve featured the fabulous Dandelion Clocks wallpaper by Sanderson previously on the blog, in the blue, green and grey colour scheme.
If you’re a fan of the 50s retro design, then you may want to head over to John Lewis, as a whole new range of gorgeous matching homeware products are now available in the same Dandelion Clocks design.
They’ve got a choice of two colourways - the blue, green and grey, which they’ll calling Chaffinch, and a purpley-pink, green and grey, which they call Blackcurrant.
Some of the items in the range include porcelain Dandelion Clocks dinner plates (£8), bone china mugs (£6), Dandelion Clocks cushions (£30) and even a fantastic large Dandelion Clocks rug.
Many of the items are available in a choice of colour and they’re the ideal accompaniment to the wallpaper.

This gorgeously vibrant magenta felt rug, by Selina Rose, would definitely brighten up a room on a cold, dark day.
As well as being vibrant, it’s eye-catching too, especially the intricate cut-out designs in the centre, which feature the shape of leaves, birds and butterflies.
Made from 100% wool felt, which has been coloured with eco-friendly dyes, the rug has a thickness of 5mm and is made to order.
The Botanica felt rug is available from Bouf - sadly, it does cost £450, but worth it if you’ve got the money to invest in a very special rug.

 Himali Shade rug
If you’re looking for a new rug for your home, then there are some lovely contemporary rugs at the nicely named Funky Rugs store.
We’re rather fond of the Brink and Campman rugs they sell, especially the Himali Shade collection. The rugs are handknotted in Nepal by craftspeople and they’re available in four sizes.
The gorgeous deep red, sunset-like rug offers a wonderful splash of colour. If red isn’t for you, then they also do the same style in more subtle colours, like shades of blue, amber, neutral and green.

Go and investigate them - there’s even 10% off at the moment!
