 Natural wood cube storage
Display cubes offer a relaxed alternative to fixed shelving and with this set of six freestanding cubes, you can arrange them in a configuration of your choice.
They come in a natural wood finish, but are ripe for being altered. We love the idea of adding a coat of contrasting coloured paint inside each cube or by sticking in some favourite wallpaper designs.
With the cubes measuring different sizes and depths, there are varying spaces inside to add books, display pictures or stand vases.
The set of six stacking storage display cubes cost £129 from Rockett St George.

If you’re looking for a feature light to hang low above a dining table, then how about this shiny metal industrial style light?
Based on the design of a traditional industrial light, the ceiling light has a long 1.5m flex and a flat shade, which provides plenty of light. The design makes it perfect for using with a specialist designer light bulb for a stunning lighting effect.

 Serve salad in style
Isn’t this salad bowl fab? I’ve been waiting for it to come back in stock, as it’s so unusual and will make serving salad (or anything else) so much more fun.
The white salad bowl is a nice shape and is made from durable plastic, so you can use it for outdoor entertaining or picnics too.
It’s the salad servers – a spoon and fork – which really bring the piece to life. Produced in a fresh green colour, the servers have two little birds (sparrows, apparently) on the end of their handles, which sit perfectly on the side of the bowl, as if they’re peeking over the edge.
The bird salad bowl and servers set is £29.95 from Rockett St George and will certainly liven up my dining table!

- Ceramic coffee or tea cup
Here’s a novel cup for your favourite tea or coffee. Designed to look like the coffee shop takeaway cups, this one is in fact made of a pretty blue and white china. It comes complete with a heat resistant sleeve, so you can carry it around and not burn your hand whilst you drink it, and a funky rubber lid, just like the ones you’re used to getting with takeout coffees.
If you’re really into eco issues and being green, you could even take this ceramic cup with you to your favourite coffee shop and see if they’re prepared to serve you a cuppa in this, rather than their usual cups.

If you thought animal print wallpapers were only for children’s rooms, then think again. This wonderful zebra wallpaper is fun and quirky and, with it’s lovely charcoal shades, looks great used in contemporary styled rooms.
Created by interior designers, Bunny Turner and Emma Pocock, from Turner Pocock, together with sketches by Catherine Cazalet, the wallpaper design is hand drawn and features a quirky runinng zebra. One of the best aspects of it, and the element that makes it look so effective on the wall, is that each of the zebras has a paler mirror image reflection. They’re also alternately facing in different directions and the way that the zebras are drawn makes it look like they’re bounding along the wall.
The zebra wallpaper is printed in the UK and is available to purchase from Rockett St George.

 Stylish egg holder
Cleverly designed to look like the familiar cardboard egg boxes, this egg holder is actually made of ceramic.
It can accommodate up to nine eggs and can be used out on a kitchen worktop surface, or in your fridge, holding the eggs securely so they won’t accidentally get broken.
The ceramic egg box holder comes in classic white and is available from Rockett St George for £9.95

 Creative heart art
This is a great piece of art by Brigitte Herod and one that could easily be replicated if you haven’t got £175 spare to purchase it.
The heart is made from lots of little button badges, all sourced from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s, and if you look closely, you’re sure to pick out badge images that you remember from your past.
The picture is framed in a white box frame and looks great from a distance, as well as close up.
To own the original, pop over to Rockett St George and snap it up.
But if you happen to have a load of old badges stashed away in your cupboard, perhaps you could have a go at creating your own wall art?

 Take a shower in Italy
I’m not the biggest fan of shower curtains – I much prefer screens – but if you’ve got to have a curtain, then this Venice shower curtain is a great alternative.
The curtain has a wonderful view of typical Venice architecture, complete with canal activity, and could help transport you away from your bathroom to the wonderful Italian city.
It’s available to purchase from Rockett St George for £30.
If Venice doesn’t do it for you, then the shower curtain is also available depicting other worldwide destinations, including Paris, Las Vegas, London and Brooklyn.

 Trendy butterfly clock
This unusual butterfly clock is designed by Susanne Philippson and is made from white lacquered metal.
Based on the idea that ‘time flies’, one corner of the clock has ragged edges where butterflie have flown out! The clock comes with three seperate butterflies and you can position as near or far from the clock as you wish.
If you love modern, creative design, then this eye-catching clock is the ideal piece to own.
