 Purple kettle and toaster If you love purple, you’ll love some of the autumn 2010 interiors products available. We’re seeing gorgeous plums and deep berry shades in all sorts of products, from cushions and soft furnishings to crockery and kitchen appliances.
Interiror influences and fashion off go hand-in-hand, so it’s not surprising that some of the high street shops are full of fashion in coordinating purple and berry colours.

These decorative metal balls have a lovely lattice work effect, that adds a natural swirl to their surface.
Available as a set of three, they range in size from 17cm, to 13cm and 10cm and look great grouped together as a threesome. They’re a more contemporary version of the decorative china balls, often in blue and white, that have been popular over the years.

 Glass table lamp We love this elegant ombre table lamp, from Next.
The glass base is the eye-catching part of this lamp – it’s nicely shaped, but goes from a deep teal colour to a light blue. It’s accompanied by a faux silk teal shade, although you could replace this for a lighter colour if you wish.
The lagoon ombre table lamp is available from Next, where it’s priced at £35.

 Create your own collage I’m on the lookout for a nice large frame, suitable for holding multiple pictures, so was pleased to come across this collage frame from Next.
It’s in a lovely deep chocolate colour and holds up to 11 photos, of differing sizes.
The collage effect is a bit of a change from some of the frames which simply hold multiple photos, as they look a bit less regimented and formal and look good on the wall.
This one, that Next are calling the chocolate large box collage, is priced at £40.

 Add a splash of colour
If you’re looking to add a splash of colour to your home, then decorative accessories are great to use.
This red swirl bottle from Next, with its slightly orange swirls, would certainly give a good dose of colour and you could use it as a simple vase too, as a single stem would fit in really well.

 Dainty sparkly lights
Aren’t these little sparkly crystal lights sweet? They’re designed to be used outside, along your path, to help you find your way to your front door in the dark.
Although seasonally shaped like frosted Christmas trees, you could use them for longer than the Christmas period.
