Tuscany leather sofa

If you thought a customisable leather sofa would be out of your price range, then think again.

This stylish Tuscany leather sofa is available from Next, where you can choose which type of leather you’d like (Italian leather, Dallas leather or Rio leather), which colour shade you’d prefer (tan, black or dark brown) and which size of sofa, sofabed, seat or charir you’d like.

A medium Tuscany leather sofa in dark brown Italian leather, for example, comes in at £999, an extra large sofa is £1049 and a super functional, medium sized sofa bed is only slightly more at £1199.  A matching chair and the nicely named ‘Snuggle Seat’ are available too and you can stick to the same type or colour of leather for everything, or mix and match.

With proper care and attention, a leather sofa can last for years, so it’s a good investment to make for a piece of furniture for your living room.

Leather Park Lane TV bed

Leather Park Lane TV bed

A leather bed is the ultimate in luxury and this one, from Furniture Village, has the added bonus of also having a 26″ HD LCD TV built into it.

The flat screen TV is in the foot of the bedstead and there’s space provided to house a DVD player too, with connections for a SCART and two HDMi cables. All the cables and wires are cleverly hidden beneath the slatted beech wooden base, so you won’t be faced by wires as you get in and out of bed.

The double leather TV bed is available in a range of five colours, including this lovely pale cream shade. The usual Furniture Village price for the Park Lane TV Bed is £4795, but if you buy it now, it’s only £2595.

Medium brown leather frame

Medium brown leather frame

No home should be without at least one or two photo frames, and for that special picture or memory of a unique occasion, you can’t beat a luxury leather photo frame.

This medium brown leather photo frame is from specialist leather company, Kiki James, and costs £58.50.

The frame is handcrafted in England and made from a luxurious Italian croc print leather. It feels sturdy and very well made - the leather is smooth to touch and even the back of the frame has been finished off with an unusual material (you won’t be embarrassed if anyone sees the back of it!).

The frame measures 9.5″ by 7.5″, making it the ideal size for popping in your favourite 7″ by 5″ photo. As the frame can be used horizontally or vertically, you can be assured that both landscape and portrait sized photos will fit.

In addition, if you’re looking for an extra special present, the frame can easily be personalised, with up to three lines of text in various positions around the frame. It would make a great gift, for Christmas, birthday, for a new home or another special occasion, as each frame arrives wrapped in tissue paper in a luxury gift box.

As well as this brown leather frame, Kiki James also sell a selection of other luxury leather photo frames, in colours such as tan, black and ivory, plus some very nice embossed leather journals.

Alkina leather footstool

Alkina leather footstool

They’re handy for putting your feet on, but also for those occasional seating needs when you need somewhere else for someone to perch! Yes, the humble footstool is a handy piece of extra seating to have in your home.

This 100% leather footstool, from the Alkina Collection, has contrasting white stitching which helps it stand out, and is available in chocolate brown, black, natural or red.

Some leather footstools can be quite pricey to buy, but this one is £70 – although you do have to stuff it yourself. This does at least mean that you can control the amount of stuffing you put in and create a footstool that’s perfect for your needs.

The leather footstool measures 18″ wide by 18″ deep and when it’s stuffed, it could get up to 14″ high.

Find out more, or buy the footstool, from the Alkina Collection.
