These contemporary style ceramic milk jugs are handmade in Bristol by Hanne Rysgaard. The slipcast jugs are made from glazed porcelain and decorated with a cow design – cows on grass, to be precise.

They’re  fun and funky, available in two sizes (medium and large) and are safe to be popped in the dishwasher or microwave.

This is the most exquisite handmade oak leaf themed bowl!

The pewter hammered bowl has two decorative oak leaves on each side and comes with a coordinating pewter spoon, with a decorative acorn on the handle.

The bowl is handmade in the UK, in Wiltshire by Glover & Smith, using lead free pewter. It’s safe to use with food and would make a very unusual bowl for serving olives, chutney or jam in, or you could simply have it out on a shelf as a decorative accessory.

British contemporary designer, Lucy Gilchrist, has captured the charm of pink flamingos in this handmade cushion.

The cushion features a hand printed design on the front and a high quality coordinated fabric on the back (the backing fabrics vary, as do the finishing touches, which are either a bow or buttons) and the inside is filled with a duck feather pad.

It’s a great design and a lovely cushion to own. You can buy the flamingo cushion direct from Lucy for £30, or from Retro Roost.

It’s funky, unique and eco-friendly and you can design it to fit your room.

The whole of this huge Christmas tree is entirely made from books, then decorated with Christmas lights. It was created in a New York Anthropologie store (we also love the teapot lamp to the right!).

The design is inspired by tower blocks, ladders and shelving systems and the end result provides a modern design with a hint of retro.

The lampshade on its own can be purchased for £39, but the tall, wenge lamp base shown, or the same base in a natural colour, is available too for an extra fee.

These Ciro bowls by LSA International are handmade in Poland and each feature two oval holes as part of the design, making them distinctive and stylish.

The Ciro serving or salad bowl, which is a really useful size to have, is currently reduced in the sale at DotMaison, and is now priced at £20.
