 Monochrome crockery
At House of Fraser there’s currently up to 50% off dinnerware, serving dishes and glasses. Amongst the bargains, we spotted this Linea Eternal Silouhette dinnerware range, which is rather nice and half price.
Made from fine bone white china, the pieces have a delicate black floral design that, in most cases, runs over half the plate (or in the case of the mug, inside it too). The Eternal Silhoutte range includes dinner plates, salad plates, soup bowls, tea cups and saucers, and mugs, with prices now starting at a very reasonable £4 for a mug.
Also available in the sale are Denby Azure placemats, Linea Darcy tablelinen and the classic Denby Imperial Blue glassware.

 Denby tableware set
Denby is a name that’s well associated with quality tableware. Although it’s available in a host of different colours and designs, for a modern look that will go with anything, regardless of your decor or table cloth colour, white is the perfect solution.
This 16 piece white Denby tableware set is a great buy, especially as it’s currently half price. The set consists of four dinner plates, four cereal bowls and four stylish mugs made of white porcelain. They’re all oven safe, freezer safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe and the set comes nicely boxed, making it perfect for giving as a gift too.
You’ll find the half price set available from Debenhams. If you’re looking for other white porcelain Denby pieces, then they have lots more items with 50% off too, including a lidded sugar bowl, a white oval dish, a large white Denby bowl and a white tea plate.

Designed by Maxwell and Williams, and part of the Cashmere range, the Allegro dinner set is a fresh and stylish design that would work well in many a modern kitchen.
Available in noir (black and white) or rouge (red and white) the stripy design is made from fine bone china. Whilst the pieces can be bought seperately, a starter pack of 20 pieces - four dinner plates, four side plates, four soup bowls and four tea cups and saucers - is available from Cook in Style. If you need dinnerware for larger numbers, you can always buy two sets or add to it in the future.
Usually priced at £110 per set, the Cashmere Allegro 20 piece dinner sets are currently reduced down to a more tasty sounding £70 per set.
Both colour choices are available and you’ll find them at Cook in Style.

 Modern floral teapot
Top designer, Zandra Rhodes, has created a new range of exclusive homeware products for M&S, including this striking black and white floral teapot.
The teapot is a nice, modern shape and the floral design is eye-catching. It’s priced at £25 from M&S.
If the design appeals to you, then there are various other matching pieces available too, so you can create your own set. For example, a dinner plate is £7.50, a pasta bowl is £7.50,a floral side plate costs £6, the sugar bowl is £9.50 and a bowl is £6.
We like the fact that, although all the pieces have an element of the floral design, they’re not all exactly the same - some have black flowers on a white background, others have a black background with white flowers, plus some pieces, like the pasta bowls, only have the design on part of the bowl. This helps make them more unique and unusual.
