 Contemporary Noah chest The Design Collective at John Lewis showcases furniture, homeware and soft furnishings from some of the best design talent in the UK and internationally. Amongst some of the excellent designers who have products featured is Bethan Gray.
Bethan is an award-winning furniture designer who spent 10 years designing for Habitat, before going solo and launching the Bethan Gray Studio.
Bethan has produced a range of contemporary furniture exclusively for John Lewis, including furniture for the bedroom, dining room and living room.
In particular, we love the design of the Noah range, which includes sideboards, desks, tables, cupboards and this lovely Noah chest of drawers.
The chest has five drawers and offers plenty of storage inside. It’s made from solid and oak veneers and we like the ‘no handle’ look – the soft-close drawers have integral handles, rather than bulky knobs.
As you’d expect from a high quality designer piece of furniture, it comes fully assembled, so there’s no diy needed to put this beauty together!

 Elephant stool What’s not to love about an elephant stool?
Originally designed in 1945 by Charles and Ray Eames, the Vitra elephant stool is a classic design with contemporary appeal.
This iconic piece of furniture is made from a matt finish polypropylene and it’s available in a wide choice of colours, including ice grey, white, green, pink and red. It’s a lovely addition for a children’s bedroom or nursery.
The Eames elephant stools are available from Heal’s, where they’re currently reduced in the sale.

 Wow factor patchwork chest Wow! This amazing patchwork design chest of drawers give a whole new meaning to wow factor furniture.
Guaranteed to attract attention when it’s used in your home, this wonderfully eye-catching and utterly unique chest of drawers has been created by designer, Bryonie Porter, who specialises in making wallpapered furniture.
The patchwork effect has been created using a selection of wallpapers that work very well together (look carefully, and you may spot familiar designs in there).
