British contemporary designer, Lucy Gilchrist, has captured the charm of pink flamingos in this handmade cushion.
The cushion features a hand printed design on the front and a high quality coordinated fabric on the back (the backing fabrics vary, as do the finishing touches, which are either a bow or buttons) and the inside is filled with a duck feather pad.
It’s a great design and a lovely cushion to own. You can buy the flamingo cushion direct from Lucy for £30, or from Retro Roost.
The same flamingo design is also available as a jaunty print.
If you’ve got a soft spot for pink flamingos, then check out the table we featured previously!

Funky Union Jack stool
Who knew a humble flag could be so effective in interior design and home furniture?
The Great British Union Jack has fully infiltrated the interior design world in many forms – we’ve seen it on wallpaper, sofas, radios, chairs and now an ottoman footstool.
Funky and stylish, the square ottoman makes the perfect occasional seat or footstool. It’s made from a solid wood birch frame, with solid beech dark stained feet, and upholstered in a quality velvet Union Jack pattern.
The Jack Ottoman usually costs about £215 on the high street, but it’s currently only £99 from Made.com.

Connect Four mirror
The name of this mirror instantly makes you realise what the design reminds you of – the Connect Four game!
The design of this contemporary style handmade mirror is really eye-catching. The five rows of small round mirrors make for interesting reflections and the surface of the mirror is smooth and almost looks like plastic (like a Connect Four game), but isn’t.
The Connect Four mirror is designed and made by Tony Watts, from SquarePear Furniture, and costs £180 from their store on Not On The High Street.

Here’s a quirky and novel alternative to standard hooks, created by designer Kirsty Whyte.
The Limpet hooks are mollusc shaped and are pieces of wall art in their own right – you wouldn’t necessarily know they’re a coat hook if there was nothing hanging from one.
The colourful hooks, which come in a set of six in red, turquoise and warm grey, are moulded from plastic and can hold weights of up to 5kg.
These Limpet hooks are provided exclusively for Made.com and are priced at only £29 for six (the usual high street price would be £79). Snap them up while you can!
