Amore heart toast rack and napkin rings

amore-heart-napkin-rings      amore-heart-toast-rack

What better excuse than Valentine’s Day for hunting down all these lovely heart shaped home products?

But they’re no means just for Valentine’s Day - in fact, these are much more longer lasting than a bunch of flowers or a box of chocolates.

We love the Amore range of heart shaped items, including the napkin rings and toast rack. The nickel plated toast rack will hold four slices of toast and even has a heart shaped handle at the top.

The napkin rings are made from stainless steel and come boxed as a set of four.

They’d be great gift at any time of year, and appropriate as a wedding gift too, or why not just treat yourself?

Both items are available from Beth Stevens, with the toast rack priced at £27.95 and the napkin rings at £25.95 (we’ve seen both elsewhere for £36.75 and £33, respectively, so this is quite a good deal).

Jan Constantine Union Jack swirl cushion

Swirly Union Jack

Swirly Union Jack

Jan Constantine is renowned for her Union Jack inspired textiles, but this cushion offers a different take on the traditional Union Jack.

Made from 100% wool, the cushion features a swirling Union Jack, in black, red and white, with a heart on the intersection of the stripes.

The back of the cushion is plain black. It’s a striking piece and ideal for anyone that likes the Union Jack style, but wants something a bit more unusual.

You can buy the swirly Union Jack cushion from Beth Stevens, for £67.

Crazy Daisy cake slice

Crazy Daisy cake slice

We love the Crazy Daisy range of ceramics and crockery by Portmeirion - they’re fresh, modern and funky.

There are a lot of lovely pieces in their range and a relatively new edition is this great cake slice.

The handle is decorated in the Crazy Daisy design and it comes in a presentation box, which also features the floral design.

It’s ideal for lovers of cake, but at £8.75, it would also make a great gift too. You can find it for sale at Beth Stevens.

Nigella Lawson black cake stand

Contemporary black cake stand

Contemporary black cake stand

If you’re looking for a contemporary cake stand, then how about this black one?

Much of the cake stand market seems to be dominated by clear glass cake stands, vintage china cake stands or stands in pale colours, so it makes a pleasant change to find a pure black one.

The cake stand is part of Nigella Lawson’s range (it is available in cream too) and it measures 23cm by 8.5cm. It’s the perfect size for a large sponge cake, or you could use it to display a selection of cupcakes.

The stand is available to purchase from Beth Stevens Ltd for £16.50.

Contemporary Cranesbill butter dish

Cranesbill butter dish

When did butter dishes get so good? Forget plain, simple and boring, there are some lovely contemporary designs around now these days that will house your butter (or healthy spread) and look great on your table too.

We’re loving the butter dishes on offer at Beth Stevens, particularly this nicely designed black and white floral Cranesbill butter dish (£27.95), which would fit in well with monochrome styling.

The floral design is on the base of the butter dish, with a plain lid, although there’s a nice added touch with a tiny amount of pattern appearing on the top of the butter dish handle.
