Make your own cookies

Make your own cookies

Keeping warm indoors is the ideal solution to this cold, snowy weather and there’s nothing like a spot of baking to warm up the kitchen.

We love the idea of these giant snowflake cookie cutters - not least the fact that you can create lovely stained glass effects with them, with the simple addition of some boiled sweets.

The intricately designed cutters measure 19cm in diameter, so you’ll end up with a good sized cookie at the end of it.

The snowflake cookie cutters are in the sale at Cox and Cox, for £9.10.

giant-cupcake-pan

This week much of the blogosphere has gone cupcake mad, due to it being National Cupcake Week (14th to 19th September). Over at Domestic Sluttery they’ve been giving away cupcakes every day, other blogs have had similar competitions and promos, and Camilla at Hygge Nook is apparently planning an end of week cupcake baking session.

If you’re thinking of baking cupcakes too, then how about trying out this cupcake pan?

Yes, it’s a giant cupcake pan - it measures 26cm tall by 18cm wide and it’s in the shape of a cupcake - the only difference is that this one is designed to be shared!

The Bundt cast aluminium pan is available from De Cuisine.
