We’re loving the screen printed wallpaper designs by surface print designer, Rachel Powell.
Woodstock is a graphic bird design wallpaper that’s got a Scandinavian feel to it.
Prudence is in intricate repeated pattern design that’s small in style, but has a big impact on a wall.
Both Woostock and Prudence are available in cloud (silver grey) and pepper (brown) colours, plus Woodstock is available in a lively mustard yellow too.
Both wallpapers are available in 10m rolls from Rachel Powell. Samples are available too, for 70p each.

 Brick design wallpaper
Textured effect wallpapers, like the log cabin stacked wood mural we featured recently, are all the rage at the moment.
If it’s a brick wall effect you’re after, then here’s a great wallpaper design that’s super affordable.
The bricks wallpaper is from Next and helps create the effect of a well worn textured brick wall.
As you’d expect with a normal wall, some of the bricks look more worn than others, with pale shades running through them, whilst others have darker patches. Compared to some other similar wallpapers, these bricks have got just the right balance of colour to create a realistic brick wall effect.
The brick wallpaper is ideal for creating a feature wall – a whole room papered in this might be too much. At only £15 a roll from Next, it’s not going to break the bank if you want to give it a try!

 Wooden log effect mural
We’ve come across several interiors recently – both homes and commercial interiors – that have created wonderful features from stacks of wood and logs.
Whilst it’s great if you have a wood burner, as the wood can be put to good use, or you’ve got access to a pile of logs, sometimes it’s not so practical. So if you like the idea of a feature wall of stacked logs in your home, but want minimum hassle in creating it, here’s the cheat’s way to get the effect.
This wallpaper mural, created from an image of stacked logs, looks just like the real thing, but takes a lot less effort to create. All you need to do is paste the wall and apply the mural.
The log cabin wallpaper mural is available in three sizes – mini, standard and x-large – and is available from Shop On Your Doorstop.

Bold, graphic and contemporary – we think these three words sum up the wallpaper range by Evil Robot Designs very well.
If you like decorating with wallpaper that is certainly not run-of-the-mill, then these designs could fit the bill, as they are graphic designs at their best.
We’ve been meaning to write about them for months, since they were launched in May at Clerkenwell Design Week.
It Came From Beneath The Sea is a bold red wallpaper featuring a swirl of black and white octopus tentacles.

It Came From Outer Space is inspired by B-movies and features a graphic print of a flying saucer invasion.

From a distance, the white and grey pinstripe design of The Three Laws of Robotics wallpaper looks quite tame. But once you see it close up you realise that each stripe consists of robots and cyborgs fighting!

What do you think of the designs and would you decorate your home with them?

 Fish Wish wallpaper
Who knew fish wallpaper could be so alluring?
From a distance, we didn’t realise at first that this wallpaper featured a fish design – it simply looked like an amazing rainbow coloured wall – but up close the design becomes apparent.

Made by Mr Perswall and part of the Hide and Seek collection, the fish wallpaper is marketed as a fun wallpaper for a child’s bedroom or nursery, but we rather fancy it ourselves!
The paper comes in the form of wallpaper mural panels (265cm high by 90cm wide), rather than rolls of wallpaper, and looks stunning on a wall.
Fish Wish is available from Wallpaper Direct for £65.

 Farfalla butterfly wallpaper
If you thought butterfly wallpaper wasn’t for you, take a look at Osborne and Little’s Farfalla wallpaper.
Featuring brightly coloured and wonderfully detailed butterflies flitting across a black background with embellished fern leaves, the wallpaper looks stunning used to create a feature wall.
The dramatic black background works so well and helps the detail on the butterfly designs stand out even more.
The Farfalla wallpaper (‘farfalla’ being the Italian word for ‘butterfly’) is designed by Nina Campbell for Osborne and Little and is now available to purchase at John Lewis for £54 per roll.
If the black is too dark for you, then the same design is also available in a light champagne.

 Funky pink flamingo wallpaper
For a fun and striking wallpaper, how about adding pink flamingos to your wall?
It’s not the first pink flamingo wallpaper we’ve come across, as Cole and Son also do a flamingo design wallpaper, but this one is bold, bright and more suited to a contemporary home.
We love the combination of the deep purple background with the vibrant pink flamingos, but there’s an alternative, paler colour option if you’d prefer.
The flamingo wallpaper is affordably priced at only £18 a roll from Graham and Brown.
