Stunning baroque mirror

Stunning baroque mirror

We love this large black baroque style mirror that we found on the Chic Boutique Interiors website.

It looks great simply propped up casually against a wall, but it would look equally stunning hung from the wall.

It measures 114cm by 168cm in size and costs £275 from Chic Boutique Interiors.

Fun and funky Bubbles mirror

Fun and funky Bubbles mirror

There are lots of great Italian modern furniture design companies and Calligaris is one of them.

The Bubbles mirror certainly lives up to its name, with several round pieces of mirror of different sizes arranged in random ‘bubble’ shapes.

The mirror is available in several finishes, including glossy white lacuqer, glossy black lacquer and wenge stained oak veneer. It looks great hung on its own, but equally good with two together.

You can buy the Calligaris Bubbles Mirror from Mac & Mac for £217.

Unusual UK map mirror

UK mirror map

UK mirror map

Maps and globes often crop up in home decor and home accessories, but this is the first time we’ve come across a United Kingdom one in the form of a mirror.

This two piece mirror comes in the form of a realistic looking map of Great Britain and Ireland (Ireland being the second part of it).

If you want to have a map on your wall, but also happen to be in need of a mirror, then it’s the perfect solution. This version measures 60cm in diameter (a smaller 40cm one is available too) and costs £47.95 from Toys and Interiors.

Funky shaped mirrors

Funky shaped mirrors

Funky shaped mirrors

Straight lines certainly have their place in a home, but if you want to add something different to your walls, then how about these funky shaped mirrors?

The funky mirrors have rounded, polished edges and are produced in shapes that you generally won’t find elsewhere.

If an asymetrical mirror floats your boat, then they’re available in three different sizes from Home Frenzy. They’re sadly not cheap - prices start at £207 - but they don’t half look good.

Bird mirror memo board

Bird design magnetic memo board

Bird design magnetic memo board

On our continued quest for the perfect magnetic memo board, we’ve discovered this gem on sale from Dutch By Design.

The bird mirror memo board stands out from other magnetic boards as it’s  got a lovely reflective mirror finish and it will fit in well with any decor scheme.

A bird design - two birds sitting perched on twigs in a leafy setting - is etched onto the board. The memo board itself measures 39.5cm by 29cm and it comes with two dinky flower shaped magnets.

Best of all, we think it’s very affordable compared to some other magnetic memo boards, as it’s priced at £19.50 from Dutch By Design.

We’re very tempted. What do you think?
