 Pink memo board One for the girls - this pink magnetic memo board has a nice feathery design on it and comes with a set of pink heart magnets.
We particularly like the linear shape, as it can be hung either vertically or horizontally, and would fit into small spaces.
The memo board is sold by Objects of Design.
If a square magnetic memo board is more your style, then they have the same design available in a larger square version too.

 Eco-friendly notepad Never worry about running out of paper again, with this ceramic, re-usable notepad.
This eco-friendly item is designed to look just like a notepad, but is made of ceramic. It comes with a wipeable pencil, which is tucked in the slot at the top, and you can write your shopping lists or notes on it.
The pad measures 20cm by 14cm and can easily be cleaned with a dry or damp cloth. As well as the pencil that comes with it, you can use china markers or dry wipe pens safely on the ceramic surface.

This wall sticker doubles up as a handy memo chalkboard, so you can write notes to your friends or family, or scribble down your shopping list on the wall.

 Contemporary memo board
Another fun take on the memo board idea, the Spiral Spider memo board is made of metal and allows you to attach all your favourite photos and reminders, but without having to stick a pin in them.
The board is available in several colours - blue, red, lime green, pink, black and silver - and, if you need more space, several of them can be hung together to form a larger board.
If you want a different looking memo board for your home or office, then this could be worth exploring.

 Bird design magnetic memo board
On our continued quest for the perfect magnetic memo board, we’ve discovered this gem on sale from Dutch By Design.
The bird mirror memo board stands out from other magnetic boards as it’s got a lovely reflective mirror finish and it will fit in well with any decor scheme.
A bird design - two birds sitting perched on twigs in a leafy setting - is etched onto the board. The memo board itself measures 39.5cm by 29cm and it comes with two dinky flower shaped magnets.
Best of all, we think it’s very affordable compared to some other magnetic memo boards, as it’s priced at £19.50 from Dutch By Design.
We’re very tempted. What do you think?

If anyone happened to buy the Cox and Cox damask noticeboard that we featured recently, we wondered whether you received the birds nest with it? (The cute little one with eggs in, seen pinned on the board).
On the Cox and Cox product listing, they do specifically say that the birds nest isn’t included and was added by their product stylist, but we chanced upon the exact same product for sale elsewhere and were surprised to read that the birds nest is included.
The one with the nest is available from Lytton and Lily, described as the Marie Louise Pin Board, for £59 (so the Cox and Cox option is quite a bargain for £34!). It surely can’t be all the more expensive just because of the birds nest?!
It’s not a big deal, but it’s piqued our curiousity, so if a birds nest mysteriously appears with your Cox and Cox damask noticeboard order, please do let us know!

We’ve been looking for a nice notice board or memo board recently and love the fabric covered ones. Some of the ones we’ve come across though are a bit too gaudy and bright, or don’t really fit in with the decor, so it was a pleasant surprise to find this lovely damask covered notice board.
It’s nicely produced, with an antique wooden frame, and is split up into three sections (so you could, effectively, use the areas for different purposes or for pinning certain notes to).
It’s subtle enough to fit in with any decor scheme, but the damask patterned fabric gives it an edge and element of interest that sets it apart from plain and simple notice boards.
It’s available from Cox and Cox and comes complete with seven novel gull’s egg pins and even four little bird pictures.
