 Lego House
We were rather amused to read that Top Gear presenter, James May, is set to build a two storey life size house from Lego.
The house will be built in the Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey and will include all the usual home comforts, including a full size staircase, plumbing, power, a shower and toilet.
They are still working on the logistics of a fully flushing Lego toilet, but James is hoping it’s possible, especially as he’s planning to live in the house for a few days. A massive total of three million lego bricks have already been delivered to the site for the construction of the house.
The lego house is the latest challenge James is undertaking for his BBC series, James May’s Toy Stories. Back in May, he famously built a garden entirely from plasticine for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show - and won the People’s Choice Award.

A designer at Eumar, Abisko Washbasin, created a water flume-like sink concept. The creative twist in the shape looks awesome, but to use it in your bathroom, or in your kitchen, you might need a hole in the floor!

If you had a PC in the 80’s or 90’s you may well have a lot of old floppy disks in the basement or loft. If so, now’s the time to dust them off and recycle them in a stylish way!
The Pac-Man picture on the left has been made up for hundreds of floppy disks. So why not put your creativity to use and see what floppy disk design art you can come up with?

When you’re a kid it’s natural to have lots of toys around you in the home and in your bedroom, but what if you grow up and want the same things in your home? For adults that still have those yearnings for playing in their home, Archvirus Architecture have created a rather novel house in Greece.
Filled with ramps, for skateboarding whenever you feel like it, the Ramp House provides an indoor playground for adults who want to continue to have fun!

The creative staff at K2LD Architects have created a really good looking apartment. The designer used natural colours to put some warmth into the apartment, which definitely helps in such large, open plan spaces. More images>>>

This modern villa home in London, with its exterior cube-like design, is bursting with space and style. It has over 7,935 square feet of space, which include five bedroom suites, two reception rooms, a cinema, sparkling indoor pool, a staff apartment and secure parking.
The interior has been finished to high specifications, with no expense spared - all mod cons, contemporary decor and a clean, crisp look. Outside, there are no less than three large terraces, a courtyard balcony and pristine landscaped gardens.
Not surprisingly, for a property like this in Central London, it does come with quite a hefty price tage - £8,950,000! Would you buy it, if you could afford it?
