Lombok have a range of what they, rather fancifully, call Windlights (they’re more like lanterns to us) and they’re currently running a special ‘Buy one, get one half price’ offer on them.
There are some nice pieces available in the offer, so if you were thinking of buying a lantern, now is a good time – the second one would be ideal for giving away as a present.
We rather like the small glass and ceramic windlight (£26), which is good for using inside, and the nicely shaped oriental hanging windlight (£45), which would be great for hanging on a hook or branch for use outside in the garden. Both pieces can be found on the Lombok website, along with plenty more inspiring product ideas.

No home is complete without some form of pictures, art or photography on the walls. These inspiring photos are by photographer Angie Muldowney, who uses a mix of modern photography techniques and vintage cameras to produce stunning effects.
If you’re looking for some new artwork for your wall, then she currently has a ‘buy one, get one free’ offer available at her Etsy store. Buy any one photo, of any size, and choose a second photo (of the same value or less) for free. There are full instructions in the shop as to how to redeem the offer and a fantastic selection of photos to choose from.
Amongst our favourites are Truelove (£6.43 for a 5″ by 5″ print), Going In, Roost and Only Time Will Tell.
Angie also adds in the helpful information that Ikea’s RIBBA 23cm by 23cm frame fits perfectly with her photos, offering an inexpensive way of creating a framed print for your wall.

 Funky coat stand
For a modern take on the traditional wooden coat stand, why not try this gumball coatstand from Oliver Bonas?
The stylish, slim white stand won’t take up heaps of room, but is equipped with enough hooks to hang a selection of coats, hats and other accoutrements on. The style and design of the hooks have a sense of fun and the tips of the hooks are finished off with different coloured balls – hence the name ‘gumball coat stand.’
The coatstand measures 170cm tall and would like right at home in your hall, bedroom or office. It’s £45 from Oliver Bonas.

 Colourful doormat
It’s not the most sexy item to buy for your home, but unless you want muddy or wet feet trailing through your home, you need to have a doormat.
A lot of doormats are boring and unappealing, but thankfully this is one doormat that we think you might like. The eyecatching design has three large floral blooms on it, in shades of pink, red and purple. In fact, it looks a bit too nice for muddy feet to stand on.
To get this doormat in front of your door, head on over to Graham and Green, where it’s priced at £22.50.

 Great collection of vases
These small blue glass Aladdin vases are designed to hold a single stem and are a lovely way of displaying flowers from your garden.
But they’re also a great little set for using as decorative accessories in the home. The vases come as a set of six, three made from clear blue glass and three from frosted glass. There are plenty of ways in which you can use them – dotted around singly on windowsills, in pairs, in groups of three or altogether on a shelf.
The set of six Aladdin stem vases is very affordable at only £12 from Graham and Green.
