We seem to have a bit of a thing about colourful glassware at the moment, but who wouldn’t be drawn to these gorgeous bottles?
They’re all handmade from mouth blown glass and we love the combination of uplifting bottle colours combined with zesty round bubble-like bottle stoppers.
Aptly named Bubbles and Bottles, these ones come as a set of four and would look brilliant displayed on a window sill.
Other similar bottles, vases, jugs and more from the same brand are available to purchase individually from Heal’s, plus they do some very attractive hand crafted ceramic pieces too.

Add an explosion of uplifting colour to your glassware collection, with these gorgeous hand-blown glass tumblers.
The glasses are hand-blown in the south of France by glassmaker Julienne Daniaux, and available in the UK from The Conran Shop. We adore the glorious swirls of colour on each glass, which almost look like waves moving in the ocean.
The glass tumblers are available in two sizes and a choice of six lively colours – rose, blue, turquoise, violet, honey or orange. Create a set of one or two colours, or go all out and opt for a mix-and-match collection of multi-colour.
Find out more about Julienne Daniaux and buy the Madras tumblers at The Conran Shop.

We’re feeling a bit peckish and can’t help daydreaming about desserts…..and what better way to serve up posh puds than in these Sagaform dessert bowls.
The Spectra dessert bowls are designed by Ann Carin Wiktorsson and, although they’re described as pink, they’re really more of a subtle purple. The stem of the dish features a striking dash of red and purple, and the bowl itself is tinted with purple. As with all Sagaform products, it’s the colours that really make this glassware special and distinctive.
The dessert bowls come in pairs and are available from Debenhams, along with other matching glassware.

Mini caterpillar style bud vase
Sometimes small is beautiful and even the tiniest of accessories can make an impact.
With spring blooms finally opening up in the garden, there are lots of small and dainty flowers around, like crocuses, snowdrops and primroses. If you want to bring a few into your house, then this mini caterpillar design vase is the ideal way of displaying them.
The small round bud vases are joined together to provide a bigger impact – fill all of them, or some of them, with a few fresh blooms and enjoy the arrival of spring.
The caterpillar bud vase is just £9.95 from The Handpicked Collection.

Ben de Lisi purple glassware
We love glasses that have a hint of colour on their stem or base, but are plain glass elsewhere.
If you’re a fan of purple, then designer Ben de Lisi has created a lovely range of purple coloured glassware.
In the case of the glasses, all the glory of the purple is on the stem, creating an elegant design. There’s a cocktail glass and wine glass that both work well, plus a matching glass jug that has a lovely purple base.
All of the items in Ben de Lisi’s purple glass range are well priced, but they’re even better at the moment as they’re all reduced at Debenhams.
They’d be perfect for Christmas entertaining – and would tone in well with a purple Christmas tree!

If you’re starting to plan Christmas parties or getting ready for entertaining at home, a good set of dessert dishes is really useful to have so you can serve up delicious desserts in style.
This set of four LSA Coro collection dessert dishes are super elegant, with their hand-painted gold bases.
What’s more, they’re a bit of a bargain too, as they’re currently reduced from £30 down to £21 for a boxed set of four, from the Occa-Home Outlet.

Heart and head glasses
Are you ruled by your heart or your head?
Sometimes it can be a tough choice and a fine balancing line between heart and head, as this quirky glass design celebrates.
The tumbler style glass is by Space 1a Design and is made from recycled and reclaimed glass collected from Britain and Europe. The broken glass is reformed to produce the tumbler and the design is hand-etched in Somerset.
The heart and head glasses are sold as a set of six for £45 and would make a good gift and philosophical talking point.
Space 1a Design produce some other nice glasses with similar quirky designs – do check out their mood tumblers and mood glasses too.

Rainbow glass carafe
Marcel Wanders has designed some colourful products for the current season at Marks and Spencer and we can’t help but love this carafe water jug.
The handmade glass carafe has a striking rainbow striped design in the middle – it’s very eye-catching!
The carafe would be perfect for serving water in at the table, or to use to have water in by your bed, to quench your thirst if you get thirsty during the night.
The Marcel Wanders striped carafe is priced at £25 and matching hi ball glasses and tumblers (both £9.50 each) are also available.

Contemporary garden sculpture
These amazing garden sculptures are the creation of James Lethbridge, a UK based glass artist.
Called ‘Strange Fruit‘, each of these pieces is made from glass and are designed to be used individually or in a group as an outdoor installation.
They remind us of a cross between dandelions and little people and look so effective with several stems placed together. As they’re made of glass, they’ll sparkle as they catch the light.
The Strange Fruit designer glass sculptures are sold individually and available to purchase from James Lethbridge’s store on Bouf.

Ornate glass design
Aren’t these glasses gorgeous!
They were designed by Dutch designer, Tord Boontje, and are part of his Table Stories collection.
The clear glasses are blown by mouth and are ornately decorated with a white horse design. They’re so lovely, they almost too good to actually use!
If you do want to drink from them, they’re designed to be whisky glasses, but look like they’d work well as water tumblers too.
Jasmine Way have the horse whisky glasses in stock, with a set of two priced at £30.
Check out some of Tord Boontje’s other creations that we’ve previously featured.
