 Stylish tableware
If you missed the previous offer we featured, for the Maxwell and Williams Cashmere Allegro dinner set, then this Ruby range from M&S is almost identical.
Better still, it costs considerably less for a 12 piece set than the full price of the Maxwell and Williams version. Available in the same black and white or red and white choices, the stripy dinner set includes four dinner plates, four side plates and four cereal bowls.
Matching Ruby cups and saucers are £7.50 each and extra side plates are £6 each. Get the look and style, without breaking the bank!

 Glass flower dish
This beautiful glass dish is handmade in a lovely magnolia flower shape. Measuring 18cm in diameter, you can clearly see the petals of the flowerhead and the centre of the bloom and it’s been nicely finished off with a subtle gold shade.
It would look lovely on a shelf, windowsill or table, left empty or filled with sweets or nibbles.
You can buy the magnolia dish from ZiggiZiggi, for £13.50.

If you thought tea sets were boring and old fashioned, think again.
Tina Tsang’s Blaue Blume white tea set ceramics, with their lace pattern textures, have been given a funky modern twist by using legs as handles.
From a tea cup and teapot with leg handles, to a cake stand with legs popping out of the top, Tina Tsang’s designs are nothing short of quirky and memorable.
Granted, they may not be too everyone’s taste, but they’re certainly a different take on traditional designs.
The teacup (£35), teapot (£65) and cake stand (£128) can be purchased from All Things Original. You can even choose whether you want the dainty feet to have red or black shiny shoes.
What do you think - do you love ‘em or hate ‘em?

Designed by Maxwell and Williams, and part of the Cashmere range, the Allegro dinner set is a fresh and stylish design that would work well in many a modern kitchen.
Available in noir (black and white) or rouge (red and white) the stripy design is made from fine bone china. Whilst the pieces can be bought seperately, a starter pack of 20 pieces - four dinner plates, four side plates, four soup bowls and four tea cups and saucers - is available from Cook in Style. If you need dinnerware for larger numbers, you can always buy two sets or add to it in the future.
Usually priced at £110 per set, the Cashmere Allegro 20 piece dinner sets are currently reduced down to a more tasty sounding £70 per set.
Both colour choices are available and you’ll find them at Cook in Style.

These dandelion design table mats are just three of a set of six, by designer Ella Doran.
The table mat images are all of dandelion flowers, but each mat features a different stage of the dandelion’s life. From a full grown, bright yellow flower, to a transformation into a seedhead, to the moments when the seeds gradually get blown away - all of the images have been superbly captured.
I really like the non-uniform idea of these mats, that they complement each other perfectly well, but that each is a little different.
The mats measure 24cm by 19cm and the surface can easily be wiped down to clean.
The set of six mats is available to buy from Ella Doran’s online store.

It will look great on a table, but also equally good displayed in your kitchen or dining room when not in use.

 Patriotic placemats
We’ve had the Waterloo armchair, the cool Britannia sofa, the Jan Constantine Union Jack swirl cushion and the Emma Bridgewater tin. It was only really a matter of time before we’d feature placemats too.
These Union Jack placemats are made from lovely soft ethically sourced felt and they’re designed in England (where else?).
The round placemats come as a set of four, measuring 29cm in diameter, with a red, white and grey design. Don’t worry about them being made of felt, as they can easily be washed if they get dirty.
To add a patriotic touch to your dining table, head over to Funky Olive, where you can buy the placemat set for £19.99. Matching coasters are available too, for £8.50.

We spotted these Nina Campbell napkins featured in the January 2010 issue of Easy Living magazine.
The pictures don’t really do them justice, but the crisp white napkins are subtlely decorated with either a butterfly or dragonfly design. They’re available embroidered in either silver or gold and measure 54cm by 54cm.
Although very simple, it’s an effective way of freshening up white napkins and adding an element of interest. They’d look lovely on any discerning dining table.
The napkins are £6.99 each from Nina Campbell.

 Serve and play
What a fun way to serve olives!
This ceramic dish is shaped like a solitaire board, so you can lay your olives out in a classic solitaire formation and try and clear the board.
Of course, if you want a less challenging version, you could just eat them.
As well as olives, the board is perfect for use with chocolates, like Maltesers, mini chocolate eggs or other small nibbles.
The ceramic board measures 20cm by 2ocm by 3cm, comes boxed and is in the sale at Berry Red.
