 Factory cart coffee table
For those of you basing your interior design scheme around industrial or urban chic themes, this factory cart coffee table could be the perfect addition to your home.
The top of the table is made from wood, with long panelling details on it. But the piece is brought to life by the addition of industrial style polished metal shiny wheels and hinge and bolt detailing in the corners of the table top.
The factory cart coffee table is available to purchase from Occa Home.

These Ciro bowls by LSA International are handmade in Poland and each feature two oval holes as part of the design, making them distinctive and stylish.
The Ciro serving or salad bowl, which is a really useful size to have, is currently reduced in the sale at DotMaison, and is now priced at £20.

If playful and creative are essential requirements in table design for you, then this clouds coffee table set by designer Mark Hark ticks all the boxes.
The unique coffee table set comes with three cloud design layers which you can put together to form a multi-dimensional cloudscape design. It’s fully functional as a table, but also makes a stunning feature in a room.
For those times when you need several small tables instead of one big one, the large cloud formation can be separated, so that you’ve got three individual tables to use.
The clouds coffee table set is available in white lacquered oak veneer, as well as walnut veneer (brown or black). The white tables are currently reduced from £339 down to £189 (including VAT) from Fashion 4 Home.

 Appliqued whale cushion
We can’t resist this handmade whale cushion by Lettie Belle!
The organic, hand loomed cushion cover is decorated with a deep blue whale, made from felt and leather, which has been appliqued onto the front of the cushion.
Although it seems like a relatively simple design, we love the attention to detail, including the neat white outline stitching and the heart-like shape featured within the fin of the whale.
The whale cushion costs £25 and can be purchased from Lettie Belle’s store on Bouf.

Made in Italy by Missoni Home and available in coloured or black and white versions, the spool tables don’t come cheap, but are inherently appealing.
A selection of spool tables in different colourways are available to purchase from Amara.

 Do you?
Not that this ever applies to us, of course….but it seemed quite apt for inclusion on a Friday, when some workers are beginning to wind down in the afternoon in readiness for the weekend. We love the bright colours and typography.
The I Pretend to Work screenprint is by Andy smith and is available in a limited edition of 25, all signed and numbered by the artist.
It costs £50 from Design Supremo.

 Bath cityscape tea towel
A lot of the designers featuring cities and architectural landscapes in their work tend to focus on London, so it’s great to come across some city-inspired work that focuses on somewhere else – in this case, Bath.
Bristol-based Emmeline Simpson produces a range of products featuring designs inspired by cityscapes. This tea towel, for example, features a line drawing of the iconic view of the Royal Crescent in Bath – and having been there recently, it does so extremely well (although you probably wouldn’t see six hot air balloons passing by every day).
Made from 100% cotton and screen printed, the tea towel costs £8.95 from Emmeline’s shop on Not On The High Street.
As well as Bath cityscapes, you’ll also find homeware items in her store, such as mugs, coasters and prints, with images of Bristol and Oxford.

Various home decor products feature quotes, but it’s one of those things that’s best used in moderation – too many quotes all over the place can be overkill. But one of the ways in which quotes can be used successfully in home decoration is in creating a feature wall.
When the words ‘feature wall’ are mentioned, it can conjure up images of a wall that you’ve spent ages decorating to perfection. But when wall stickers are used, the hours spent labouring on getting it perfect are vastly reduced.
To get a quote on a wall no longer requires a super steady hand and good handwriting to painstakingly paint every letter on – ready made wall stickers do the wording job for you. All you have to do, is choose an appropriate wall space and apply the stickers.
Whether you want to create a quote feature wall in your living room, bedroom, hall, study, kitchen or another room of your home, then here are 15 ideas to inspire you.
