Contemporary deer head
No deer have been harmed in the production of this quirky wall decor. No, in fact it’s made from good old paper mache.
Contemporary versions of traditional deer heads are 100% more animal friendly and offer a 3D hanging that will provide impact on even the dullest of walls.
The Rice paper mache deer heads are available in a choice of colours – red head/white face, purple head/blue face and blue head/green face and can be purchased from Camel and Yak.

The lovely Pins and Ribbons, who specialise in handcrafted home accessories (we’ve featured one of their luxury doorstops previously), now have a small range of tea towels available.
The beach hut designs caught our eye, as they’re appropriately summery (even on a dull day). The tea towel on the left has a grey background with colourful red, white and blue beach huts and boats, whereas the one on the left is a sky blue colour with white seaside beach hut images on it.
Both tea towels are made from 100% cotton and are complete with hooks, ready for hanging in your kitchen. They’re very well priced at only £6.99 each from Pins and Ribbons.

As we’ve mentioned on numerous occasions before, we’re big fans of wall stickers or wall decals, as they offer a quick and easy way of adding interest and design to you walls, without much effort (and you can easily change it if you go off the design).
A lot of wall stickers are very flat and lack texture, so we were thrilled to discover this fab wall decor product by designer, Rachel Horrocks. Her Flutter butterfly wall decor is very cleverly made from felt and and feels wonderful to touch and look at.
The butterfly wall stickers work in the same was as traditional wall stickers, with a self-adhesive backing that sticks them to your walls immediately. The felt butterflies are 3mm thick and made from 100% wool.
Available in mixed sizes of packs of five or 10, and in petrol blue or lavender, the butterflies can be used creatively in whatever way you choose – have them fluttering down your lounge walls, flying up the stairs or positioned over your bed, the choice is yours!
The Flutter wall decor is available to purchase from Pure Design from £24.50 per box.

Silver 3D rose cushion
What do you think of this rose cushion? As 3D cushions go, we think it looks pretty impressive, as it’s effectively captured the shape of a rose flower and the intricate folds of the petals, from the middle to the outer edges.
The light chiffon material has been carefully stitched to create the rose design. The cushion is also available in cream or burgundy, but we’re rather taken by the silver, which looks very elegant.
The chiffon rose design cushion is £32 with free delivery from Not On The High Street.

Lombok have a range of what they, rather fancifully, call Windlights (they’re more like lanterns to us) and they’re currently running a special ‘Buy one, get one half price’ offer on them.
There are some nice pieces available in the offer, so if you were thinking of buying a lantern, now is a good time – the second one would be ideal for giving away as a present.
We rather like the small glass and ceramic windlight (£26), which is good for using inside, and the nicely shaped oriental hanging windlight (£45), which would be great for hanging on a hook or branch for use outside in the garden. Both pieces can be found on the Lombok website, along with plenty more inspiring product ideas.
