Once upon a time, this was a coffee cup.....
It’s amazing what new homeware products can be produced from recycled waste. The humble throwaway coffee cup is being used in many great ways – we’ve previously featured a recycled sundial, but now there’s this fanastic weekly wall planner which is also made out of old coffee cups.
From a distance, this wall planner gives the impression that it’s made from a slate-like material. Although not slate, the recycled material is tough, heavy and solid and looks good, as well as being durable.
The planner is produced to mimic a chalkboard, with plenty of space available for you to plan your weekly meals, household chores or make notes of social engagements for the week. There’s also a useful clock at the top of the board, which operates when one AA battery is inserted in the back.
It’s a functional and useful item for the home and even better that it’s also made out of recycled materials. You can buy the recycled coffee cup week planner from Love Eco.

I’m really impressed with exciting, innovative homewares made from recycled materials. Think I featured a chopping board that had that same slate appearance – recycled too.
Yes, you did have a post about a recycled cheese/chopping board – it was one of the things I read that inspired me to find other similar products! I don’t know how they get it to look like slate, but it’s very impressive.
